Dannelly AFB Squadron Operations Facility

The new 22,300 SF Squadron Operations Facility at Dannelly AFB, AL includes functional areas for the training, planning, briefing, administration, and critique of aircrew operations. It also houses the Special Access Programs Facilities (SAPF), functional areas for weapons and tactics, intelligence, flying safety, personal protective equipment storage, flight records, group operations, and the flight equipment shop.

As part of the integrated design approach, a set of objectives were established during the planning phase to guide expectations, solutions and to achieve project goals. The project development process considered elements such as aesthetics and visual quality, cost-effective solutions, functional and operational planning, experiential quality, functional accessibility, responsible sustainability, safety and security.
