Dannelly Field Fuel Cell and Corrosion Control Facility

Completed in 2013, the New Fuel Cell and Corrosion Control Facility at Dannelly Field in Montgomery, AL, was SS&L’s first LEED Certified project.  The project used numerous sustainable design attributes to achieve LEED certification while providing the 187th Fighter Wing with a state of the art maintenance facility for the F-16 aircraft.  The exterior of the building uses brick, stone, and metal panels to provide the maintenance function of the building with an attractive exterior façade that is in-keeping with and complements the existing architecture of the base.
